The Onboarding Phase – Now until 14 October 2026
BrandMatch is in its partner onboarding phase. You have been admitted to the platform and can complete the setup wizard – but matchmaking and full profile access do not begin until launch. Here is exactly what that means for you.
- Complete the 3-stage setup wizard
- BrandMatch reviews and vets your submission
- No platform access beyond the wizard
- No matches shown yet
- AI matchmaking engine is not live
- Full profile builder unlocks – complete it promptly
- AI matchmaking goes live for all partners
- Ranked matches visible with full analysis
- Express interest in matches
- Partnership Hub activated on connection
- Phase 2 Brand Fit Reviews open
Right now, one task: complete the 3-stage setup wizard. This is a focused intake form – not the full profile – that captures the essentials BrandMatch needs to vet your submission and seed the matching engine with enough data to run at launch.
For hotels, the three stages cover: property identity (name, location, star rating), property details (type, room count, ADR, brand affiliation), and partnership context (guest profile, partnership interests, and a brief property description). For brands, the stages cover: brand identity (name, category, description), audience and market (target markets, consumer income tier, age ranges, price band), and partnership context (partnership types you are open to).
The wizard takes just a few minutes to complete. Once submitted, BrandMatch reviews your entry and you will receive a confirmation. There is no further access to the platform until launch on 15 October.
Two reasons. First, match quality is only as good as the pool. Running the algorithm against a partially onboarded partner set produces results that are neither representative nor reliable. Waiting until the full onboarding cohort has completed their wizards means your matches on Day 1 are drawn from the widest, most complete pool available.
Second, BrandMatch reviews every submission before launch. This vetting step is part of the quality assurance that makes BrandMatch's partner network genuinely curated rather than simply open. The review window between your wizard submission and 15 October is how that standard is maintained.
The BrandMatch team reviews each wizard submission to confirm it meets the platform's admission standards and contains enough data to seed the matching engine. For hotels, this means verifying that the property type, positioning, and guest profile inputs are consistent and credible. For brands, it confirms that the category, market, and partnership format selections are clear and commercially coherent.
If BrandMatch needs clarification, you will be contacted directly before launch. You will not be penalised for a submission that needs a small adjustment – but the more accurate your wizard answers, the less likely any back-and-forth is needed.
Your wizard data is not shared with other platform participants during the onboarding phase. From 15 October, your full profile – which you build at launch – becomes the basis for what matched counterparts can see once a connection is confirmed.
Partners who have not submitted the 3-stage wizard by 14 October will not be included in the initial matchmaking run on 15 October. This is a quality control measure – running the algorithm against unvetted or absent data produces results that are neither reliable for you nor fair to your counterparties.
If you miss the deadline, BrandMatch will place you in a secondary cohort and include you in the next matchmaking cycle once your submission has been reviewed and approved. BrandMatch will communicate timing directly. If you anticipate difficulty completing the wizard before the deadline, contact us as early as possible.
The wizard is designed to be quick – most of it is selection-based (drop-downs, multiple choice) with a couple of short free-text fields. You do not need a prepared brief. Most partners complete it in under ten minutes.
For hotels: know your ADR band, star rating, hotel type, room count, and have a one or two sentence description of your guest profile to hand. That is enough to complete all three stages.
For brands: know your category, your target markets (by geography), your consumer income tier, and which partnership types you are open to. The wizard asks for a brief brand description – two to three sentences is sufficient.
The full profile builder, which opens at launch on 15 October, is where you add richer detail. Profile completeness after launch is what drives match quality. The wizard gets you into the system and approved; the full profile is where the matching engine has the data it needs to surface the right partners.
What BrandMatch Is – and Isn't
The framing questions. Start here if you're still deciding whether this is relevant to you.
BrandMatch is a partnership enablement platform – and that distinction is worth being precise about. It begins as a marketplace (discovery and matching), but the commercial value compounds progressively through structured qualification (Phase 2 Brand Fit Review) and implementation planning (Phase 3 Partnership Roadmap).
It is not a passive database you scroll through. It is not a brokerage that takes a commission on transactions. And it is not a standalone consultancy, though White Sky Hospitality & Chessa Connect's consultancy experience is embedded throughout the platform's methodology and tools.
Existing networks surface the same names repeatedly, rely on who you happen to know, and involve months of exploratory conversation before either party has a clear sense of commercial fit. A hotel that has been through a brand partnership process before will recognise the cost – not just in fees, but in management time, in conversations that go nowhere, and in partnerships that launch without enough planning behind them.
BrandMatch does three things your network cannot: it surfaces partners you have not yet encountered and would not find through conventional channels; it replaces three to six months of exploratory due diligence with an eight-week structured process; and it arms both parties with implementation tools that replace a €10,000–€20,000 consultancy engagement at Phase 3.
Your agency can find you candidates. BrandMatch finds you the right ones – and then helps you build something with them.
Invite-only is the quality mechanism, not the revenue mechanism. A platform where any brand or hotel can register produces matches that feel like search results. A platform where every participant has been reviewed and admitted produces matches that feel like a warm introduction from someone who knows both parties well.
The pool is intentionally curated rather than maximised. A hotel partner seeing 12 genuinely relevant brand matches is in a stronger position than a hotel partner seeing 200 algorithmically ranked options, most of which require immediate filtering. Curation is the product, not a limitation of it.
White Sky Hospitality & Chessa Connect built BrandMatch and operate the platform. In Phase 1, White Sky Hospitality & Chessa Connect's role is curatorial: reviewing applications, vetting profiles, managing the invite process, and facilitating introductions once matches are confirmed. White Sky Hospitality & Chessa Connect does not advocate for specific pairings – the matching engine scores on objective fit criteria, and BrandMatch's function is facilitation rather than salesmanship.
From Phase 2 onwards, BrandMatch becomes a more active participant. The Brand Fit Review draws on BrandMatch's hospitality methodology. The Phase 3 Partnership Roadmap is a BrandMatch-facilitated engagement. At these stages, BrandMatch has a genuine commercial interest – but so do you, because the deliverables at each stage are substantive enough to justify the investment independently of any further engagement.
BrandMatch's commercial model is transparent: Phase 1 is free. Phase 2 is a fixed-fee audit. Phase 3 is a scoped engagement with a clear proposal before any commitment is made. There are no hidden commissions, no equity stake, and no revenue sharing on partnerships that are successfully activated.
BrandMatch is operated by White Sky Hospitality & Chessa Connect — two firms with deep roots in hotel commercial strategy and brand partnership development respectively. White Sky Hospitality leads the platform development, commercial strategy, and hotel-side methodology. Chessa Connect brings deep expertise in brand partnerships and activation – specifically on the brand side of the relationship.
In practice, this means BrandMatch's matching criteria and audit framework have been developed with input from both the hotel commercial perspective and the brand commercial perspective. Both sides of the marketplace are understood from the inside, not just modelled from the outside.
Applying and Getting In
What applicants need to know before they hear back from BrandMatch.
Applications are submitted via the Request an Invitation form on the BrandMatch landing page. The form asks for your name, organisation, whether you are a hotel or brand, and a brief note about your property or brand. BrandMatch reviews all applications and responds within two working days.
On approval, you receive an invitation link to register and complete the 3-stage setup wizard. The invitation is personal and non-transferable. Matchmaking follows at launch on 15 October 2026.
BrandMatch is designed for upscale and luxury properties with a guest profile that is receptive to premium brand partnerships. The review considers three primary factors.
- Property tier and positioning. The platform focuses on upscale, upper-upscale, and luxury properties. Budget or midscale properties are generally not admitted at this stage – not because they are less commercially interesting, but because the brand partners on the platform are targeting the specific demographics that upscale and luxury hotel environments deliver.
- Commercial readiness. A hotel that has no space for brand activation, no senior commercial ownership of the partnership process, and no appetite for anything beyond room revenue is unlikely to convert a match into a productive outcome. BrandMatch looks for properties where there is genuine commercial appetite to diversify revenue through brand partnerships.
- Profile specificity. The more clearly a hotel can articulate its guest profile and positioning in the application note, the more confidence BrandMatch has that the matching process will produce useful results.
Brands admitted to BrandMatch must demonstrate minimum market presence, geographic operational capability, product quality and compliance standards, and a clear commercial model for hotel partnerships.
- Category fit. BrandMatch focuses on health, wellness, fitness, nutrition, skincare, lifestyle, and sport brands with genuine relevance to the upscale hotel guest.
- Operational capability. A brand that is admitted to the platform is one that can actually service a hotel partnership – product availability, logistics, training support, and commercial terms that work in the hotel channel.
- Commercial model clarity. BrandMatch needs to understand how the brand intends to structure its hotel partnerships. Brands with ambiguous or unformed commercial models are asked to clarify before admission.
Yes. A decline is not a permanent decision – it reflects the platform's assessment at the point of application. BrandMatch will communicate the reason for a decline where possible. If the issue is one that can be addressed (incomplete information, premature stage of commercial development, or a property tier at the lower boundary of the platform's focus), reapplication once those factors have changed is encouraged.
Brands or hotels that are declined because they fall outside the platform's scope entirely will be told that directly, so time is not spent on a reapplication that is unlikely to succeed.
The Matching Process
How the algorithm works – and what to do with the results.
The BrandMatch engine evaluates every hotel-brand combination in the platform and scores each pairing across three primary dimensions.
- Guest alignment. How closely does the brand's target consumer match the hotel's guest profile? This goes beyond category – it interrogates age demographics, income level, lifestyle orientation, and the specific consumption behaviours that indicate a guest is likely to engage with this brand in this environment.
- Brand fit. Does the brand's aesthetic, positioning, and values reinforce or contradict the hotel's identity? A clinical biohacking brand placed in an ambient luxury spa environment is a category match but a positioning mismatch. The engine is designed to distinguish between these.
- Commercial opportunity. What is the realistic revenue and activation potential for this specific pairing, given the hotel's available formats, the brand's commercial model, and the operational feasibility of delivery?
Each match comes with an extended opportunity analysis – a narrative explanation of why the pairing scored as it did, including specific commercial rationale, recommended partnership formats, and identified areas to explore or address in a Fit Review.
Matches are presented as a ranked list, ordered by composite fit score. The number of matches depends on the size and composition of the partner pool at launch – you will see every pairing that meets the minimum fit threshold, not an arbitrarily capped number.
Quality over quantity is the governing principle. A match at rank 3 with a high composite score and a strong opportunity analysis is more valuable than a rank 1 match on a platform with weaker matching criteria. Treat your ranked list as a prioritised shortlist, not a browsing catalogue.
Match quality improves as your full profile is completed. The initial matchmaking run at launch draws on data from your onboarding wizard plus whatever you add to your full profile in the early days of launch. Partners who complete their full profiles promptly after 15 October will see richer, more specific match analyses than those who leave their profiles at wizard-stage only.
The current model is algorithm-first. You cannot directly search for or request a specific counterpart by name. This is deliberate – the value of BrandMatch is in surfacing partners you have not yet considered, not in providing a directory for approaches you were already going to make through your own network.
That said, if you have a specific partnership in mind that involves a party you know is on the platform, speak to BrandMatch directly. Facilitating introductions where there is genuine commercial rationale is part of the service, and BrandMatch will use judgement on a case-by-case basis.
Expressing interest in a match does not immediately connect you with the other party. BrandMatch reviews mutual interest before facilitating the connection. If both parties have expressed interest, or if one party's expression is strong and the match score supports it, BrandMatch approves the connection and a Partnership Hub is created for both parties.
The Partnership Hub is the shared workspace where the relationship from this point forward is managed. It shows your current phase, your next step, and the tools available at each stage. Phase 1 ends when the connection is confirmed. Phase 2 begins when one party initiates a Brand Fit Review from within the hub.
Costs and What You Get
The commercial model, clearly stated. No buried pricing.
Phase 1 is free. Permanently. There is no subscription that activates after a trial period, no hidden fee structure, and no future-dated upgrade that changes this.
The quality gate for Phase 1 is the invite, not the price. Only vetted, admitted partners are on the platform – that is the mechanism that ensures the partner pool is worth being in. Phase 1 includes profile building, AI matchmaking, ranked match results with extended opportunity analysis, and connection facilitation by BrandMatch.
The commercial model begins at Phase 2, which is optional. You are never obligated to progress beyond Phase 1.
The Brand Fit Review is available at two price points depending on the route you choose.
The Automated Audit (€199) takes both parties through a structured seven-stage assessment covering strategic fit, guest alignment, operational readiness, commercial model compatibility, and brand standards. The platform synthesises both parties' responses and produces a Brand Fit Report – delivered as both a premium in-app portal view and a PDF to both parties.
The BrandMatch Manual Audit (€499) follows the same framework, but the assessment is conducted and interpreted by the BrandMatch team. This is the right choice where the partnership is strategically significant, where there are operational complexities that benefit from human judgement, or where both parties want the credibility of a BrandMatch-led review.
Either party may initiate a Brand Fit Review. The initiating party pays at the point of initiation.
Once payment is made, the counterpart receives an in-app notification and email invitation and must actively accept before the audit session is created and the process begins.
If the counterpart declines, the initiating party receives a full refund. This policy is stated clearly at three points in the payment journey: in the Partnership Hub before you reach the payment screen, on the Stripe checkout page, and in the payment confirmation email. There is no ambiguity and no dispute process required. Decline equals full refund, automatically.
Phase 3 is a scoped engagement and is priced accordingly. The entry point is €999 for a standard single hotel-brand roadmap with no site visits. Engagements involving site visits, multiple properties, or broader brand portfolio scope are priced upwards from there – typically €2,500–€5,000 for more complex arrangements.
Before any Phase 3 commitment is made, both parties complete a scoping questionnaire. BrandMatch produces a proposal with a clear scope and price. You review and agree before any payment is taken. What Phase 3 delivers:
- A Partnership Roadmap with milestones, owners, and target dates – shared between hotel, brand, and BrandMatch
- An Agreement Framework covering commercial terms, operational obligations, staff training, replenishment protocols, and escalation procedures
- A co-branded Marketing Plan brief specific to the hotel's market, positioning, and guest profile
- Training content modules for hotel staff – operational, commercial, and brand standards
- A shared Document Vault containing all deliverables
- A Phase 3 Handover Pack including a Partnership Performance Scorecard
No. There are no subscription fees, no annual platform charges, and no ongoing licence costs at any phase. You pay once per phase engagement (€199 or €499 for Phase 2, scope-based for Phase 3), and those are one-time fees for the deliverables at each stage.
BrandMatch's Phase 4 (Implementation) and Phase 5 (Monitoring) services, available after Phase 3, are separately scoped and priced if and when you choose to engage. They are entirely optional.
For Hotels
The commercial case and operational realities for hotel partners.
BrandMatch is built for upscale, upper-upscale, and luxury hotel properties with a guest profile that includes high-net-worth individuals, globally mobile professionals, and lifestyle-conscious leisure travellers. The platform works for both independent properties and those within branded chains – what matters is the property's ability to deliver a brand partnership experience, not its flag.
The right hotel has underutilised physical space with strong guest footfall, a commercial team (or individual) with bandwidth to engage meaningfully in a partnership process, and a genuine interest in diversifying revenue beyond room rate and traditional F&B.
A well-executed wellness brand partnership for a 150-room luxury hotel generates a conservative year-one estimate in the region of €150k–€350k in combined value – across ancillary revenue, ADR premium on co-branded packages, spa experience uplift, and PR and earned media value.
The BrandMatch Partnership Hub includes an ROI estimator where you can model this against your own property's room count, occupancy, and ADR across three scenarios: conservative, moderate, and optimistic. Use it before your Phase 2 conversation – it is also a useful tool for building the internal investment case with your GM.
These are directional estimates, not guarantees. Actual commercial outcomes depend on the brand category, the terms negotiated, and how well both parties execute. The Phase 3 Partnership Roadmap exists precisely to close the gap between a good match and a well-executed one.
This is a legitimate commercial concern, particularly for luxury properties where brand differentiation is a material value driver. Exclusivity is a feature of the platform, and it is addressed formally in Phase 3.
The first hotel to reach a confirmed Phase 3 Partnership Roadmap with a specific brand in a defined market receives a first-mover exclusivity window – a time-limited period during which no other hotel in that market and tier can be matched with the same brand. The default window and geographic scope are agreed during Phase 3 scoping.
Phase 1 requires under an hour to get going – the wizard itself takes just a few minutes, and reviewing your match results at launch is something most partners do in a single focused session. Phase 2 requires forty-five to sixty minutes for the seven-stage audit, plus time to review the Brand Fit Report at your own pace. Phase 3 is more substantive – expect four to eight hours across scoping, review of deliverables, and any calls with BrandMatch.
Total investment across Phases 1–3 for a typical engagement: approximately six to ten hours of senior commercial time, spread across eight to twelve weeks.
BrandMatch works for both independent properties and branded chain hotels. If you are part of a chain, the relevant questions are whether your property has sufficient commercial autonomy to enter into and manage a brand partnership at property level, and whether your brand standards create any constraints on the categories or formats that are feasible.
If you are uncertain whether your chain's operating model is compatible with BrandMatch partnerships, speak to BrandMatch before completing your wizard. It is a conversation worth having before investing time in the process.
For Brands
Access, vetting, and the commercial realities of the hotel channel.
BrandMatch initially focuses on six categories: wellness, fitness, nutrition, skincare, lifestyle, and sport. Within each, the platform is looking for brands with genuine relevance to the upscale hotel guest – premium positioning, a consumer demographic that maps to the affluent, health-conscious, experience-oriented traveller, and a commercial model that is structured for the hotel channel. This list is not fixed: as the platform grows, additional hotel-facing brand categories will be introduced.
The platform is not for mass-market consumer brands seeking distribution. It is for brands that can credibly say: "Our customer and the luxury hotel guest are often the same person – and placing our brand in that environment adds value to both the guest experience and our brand equity."
BrandMatch's initial hotel cohort spans properties across the UK, Europe, the Middle East, and South Asia – with a focus on upscale and luxury independent and branded properties. The platform does not position itself as a global mass-distribution channel; it is a curated route to premium hotel estate where your brand can be presented in the right context to the right guest.
The specific hotels you are matched with depend on your own brand profile, geographic commercial capability, and the composition of the platform's hotel partner base at the point of your matchmaking run. BrandMatch will not match you with hotels in geographies you cannot service.
BrandMatch supports six partnership structures: in-room product placement, branded wellness experiences, retail concession, digital touchpoint integration, exclusive residency, and co-branded campaign. Every match recommendation includes a format recommendation based on what is most commercially viable for that specific pairing.
The format is not imposed – it is a starting point for the Brand Fit Review conversation. Your commercial model preferences, the hotel's available formats, and the operational realities of both parties are the inputs that determine what is actually structured in Phase 3.
Once a connection is confirmed in Phase 1, both parties have been introduced and the commercial relationship is underway. There is no requirement that all subsequent communication goes through the BrandMatch platform – the Partnership Hub is a workspace, not a communication restriction.
Keeping the substantive commercial work – fit review, roadmap, agreement, marketing plan – within the platform has real practical value. It gives all three parties a single, transparent view of the partnership's current state. Decisions made in email threads get lost. Decisions made in the platform workspace are searchable, referenced, and available to all parties at any time.
Timeline and Process Expectations
Realistic timings – stated clearly enough to plan a budget cycle around.
Matchmaking runs at platform launch on 15 October 2026. Match results and extended opportunity analyses are visible from Day 1. Expressing interest, counterpart review, and BrandMatch facilitation of the connection typically adds one to two weeks. A confirmed connection – and an active Partnership Hub – is typically achievable within the first two to three weeks of launch for engaged partners.
The AI Automated Audit typically takes one to two weeks from initiation to Brand Fit Report delivery – the main variable being how quickly both parties complete their respective audit stages. Partners who treat it as a single focused effort complete it within a few working days.
The BrandMatch Manual Audit takes longer – allow three to five working days from the point BrandMatch begins their assessment. Total elapsed time from initiation to report delivery is typically two to three weeks.
The Phase 1 to Phase 3 arc is achievable in eight to twelve weeks for engaged partners. This is not a guarantee – it depends on how quickly both parties progress through each stage and how promptly scoping questionnaires are completed.
For a hotel marketing director working to a budget cycle: a partnership that begins matchmaking in October and has engaged partners on both sides can realistically have a completed Partnership Roadmap before the end of December – in time for the strategic planning cycle for the following financial year.
A Brand Fit Review that surfaces significant misalignment is still a successful outcome – arguably more valuable than a partnership that proceeds on the basis of insufficient due diligence and fails at execution. The report will be specific about where the misalignment lies, which means both parties can make an informed decision about whether to proceed, modify the partnership scope, or step back entirely.
BrandMatch does not provide refunds for Brand Fit Reviews that produce a "no" outcome. The review process is the due diligence, and its value is in the accuracy of the answer – not in producing a pre-determined result.
After Phase 3
What happens once the roadmap is agreed and the handover pack is delivered.
Phase 3 concludes with the delivery of a Handover Pack – a summary of all deliverables, an overview of the partnership's agreed milestones and commercial framework, and a Partnership Performance Scorecard your team can use to track commercial contribution quarterly.
BrandMatch's facilitation role in Phase 3 ends at handover. The hotel and brand own the deliverables and are fully equipped to execute independently. BrandMatch's Phase 4 (Implementation Support) and Phase 5 (Monitor and Measure) services are available as optional continuations – but most partners who reach Phase 3 completion will be in a strong enough position to proceed without them.
The partnership workspace remains accessible in the platform for both parties after Phase 3, as a shared record of everything that was agreed.
The Phase 3 Handover Pack includes a Partnership Performance Scorecard template specifically designed for quarterly review. It tracks five dimensions: ancillary revenue uplift attributable to the partnership, ADR premium on co-branded packages, spa or experience revenue tied to the brand activation, PR and earned media value generated, and guest satisfaction scores that reference the brand experience.
These are not abstract metrics – they are the measures a hotel marketing director can take back to their GM and a brand's commercial director can take back to their investor or board. If you want BrandMatch to manage this measurement process on an ongoing basis, that is Phase 5. If you want to run it internally using the scorecard, everything you need is in the Handover Pack.
BrandMatch is available for ad-hoc consultation after Phase 3. If a significant operational issue arises, both parties can contact BrandMatch directly. Minor issues and day-to-day coordination are expected to be managed between the hotel and brand directly, using the agreement framework and escalation procedures produced in Phase 3.
For partnerships generating meaningful revenue that want a structured ongoing relationship with BrandMatch, Phase 5 provides exactly that – a retained monitoring and optimisation engagement.
Data, Confidentiality, and IP
The questions legal and procurement will flag – answered clearly.
During the onboarding phase, your wizard data is visible only to the BrandMatch team. From launch, your profile is used by the matching engine to generate scores and opportunity analyses. Full profile disclosure happens within the Partnership Hub after a connection is confirmed, at which point both parties have consented to the introduction.
The Brand Fit Report is confidential to the three parties involved: the hotel, the brand, and BrandMatch. It is not shared with any other platform participant, used in any anonymised platform reporting, or provided to third parties without explicit consent from both parties.
BrandMatch may, with explicit written consent from both parties, produce a case study based on a Phase 2 or Phase 3 engagement. Consent is sought separately from the standard terms – it is not a condition of participation, and declining does not affect your access to the platform or the quality of service you receive.
The Brand Fit Report, Partnership Roadmap, Agreement Framework, Marketing Plan Brief, Training Content, and Handover Pack are the joint property of the hotel and brand for whom they were produced. White Sky Hospitality & Chessa Connect retains the right to use the underlying methodology and frameworks (which are White Sky Hospitality & Chessa Connect's intellectual property) but does not own the content produced for your specific partnership.
Both parties can use, share internally, adapt, and build upon the deliverables independently of the BrandMatch platform. They remain accessible in the platform's Document Vault for as long as your account is active.
Data handling is governed by BrandMatch's Privacy Policy, available in full within the platform. If you have specific data residency or retention requirements, speak to BrandMatch before completing your wizard, as bespoke arrangements can be discussed.
